25~27, April 2003, The experimental theater of National Theater.This work starts from the visualized ritual. The dancer watches herself in the mirror and evokes her memories, such as children’s song, practicing the piano unhappily, graduation dance party, typhoon, church and so on. This work is not only the personal life experience; it is also the collective memory of everyone.
In “Morendo, transposed from a minor to E major”used the collage as the performance style. Body gestures mixed with daily movements, Yao handled the space by limiting them as the dot images. Choreographer applied the different layers and exchange positions to create the diversified of emotion. Integrating dancing elements with other drama performance, Yao successfully created a new mileage stone of dancing.
